Letchworth Art Society is a group of enthusiastic like-minded artists who meet weekly to draw and paint from life and other sources using all available media. Who regularly host demonstrations and workshops with visiting local artists acting as tutors. Founded in 1947, the original expressed policy included the “provision of facilities for practical work in the Arts, the encouragement of free expression, the arrangement of lectures on the art appreciation and formation of discussion groups, young artist were to be encouraged, and interest in current exhibitions fostered”, and this is still going strong today.

This November the Letchworth Art Society will be showcasing their members artwork at the Broadway Gallery's Garden City Arts Club.
