Full Day Portrait Workshop

If you watch Portrait Artist of the year on Sky arts, and have always wondered how a professional portrait artist goes about making a lifelike and expressive piece of work, this workshop aimed at beginning and improving artists could be for you. As well as having been on the show, Paul Berryman has run hundreds of live portrait sessions in the last ten years. In this workshop he’ll aim to have you producing the best faces you’ve ever drawn using his three step-process. The workshop is understandable and fun, but fast-paced with demos, exercises and plenty of practice time too.

All materials are provided and the course notes are supplied as a pdf after the event free of charge.

​About Paul Berryman

​Although he has never received any formal training, Paul has drawn all his life, concentrating solidly on portraiture for the last ten years. Running his own art group means he has run over 600 art events and workshops, so is experienced in all aspects of running and delivering a fun day whilst sharing his experience. He has been on Portrait Artist of the Year and shortlisted in the BP portrait award.
